New Bird Paintings to Show You!
All this week I've been working away at creating fresh new bird art, three pieces total, for your viewing pleasure. The first two are on 10x10 stretched canvas and the last one started out as a watercolor but turned into acrylic on watercolor paper. What I like about applying acrylic paint to paper is the way it feels when it's all dried and finished. The paper becomes thick and leathery from layers of gloss medium and paint.
At the moment these will be offered as prints only and later in a couple of months when they come back from an exhibit the originals will be offered for sale as well, so stay tuned for that.

"Singing From the Treetops"

A sweet little tweety blue bird is bravely singing his heart out from the top of a fanciful tree at the edge of the forest. Musical notes are spilling from the bird's mouth. (Update: This painting it has now evolved into the piece shown in this post.)
Have a great rest of the week, until later.
