DIY Gift Shop Makeover Part 2
Finally, after days of craning necks skyward, wallpaper paste in hair and glasses, and walking around with strips of soggy wallpaper sticking to heels we have finally covered the whole gift shop ceiling with 1940s vintage wallpaper samples.
Thank goodness for Erica who gave me a helping hand. She pasted while I handed her the papers.
When the project was finished, I took 6 individual shots, then used the panorama tool in Photoshop to stitch the photos together, so that you can see the whole ceiling in one shot. As I was laying on the floor snapping photos, Zippy, as usual thinking it was playtime, kept poking his little mug into the lens.
TaDa, here it is! Isn't it dreamy? In real life it has a soft vintage look. My mom is so happy because now her old childhood photo album is given a new life to be shared with everyone who comes to visit!
Later I'll show you how we decorated the rest of our little Victorhill Farm Gift Shop.
